Other Information About The Garden House

If you are here to play:

Epsom is surrounded by beautiful countryside for walking and cycling, many places of historic interest to visit – Hampton Court, Polesden Lacey and many other National Trust properties, Epsom Racecourse and of course London is just a 30 minute train journey away.

If you are visiting relatives in the area and space is a problem we are an ideal alternative to a campbed in the lounge.

If you are here to work:

We have a wifi system for Laptop use. A colour printer, scanner, photocopier and fax machine can also be made available.

We can set up the lounge for meetings of up to 8 people – It’s a more unusual place for a meeting but we believe it is so quiet and peaceful it is perfect to get the ideas flowing. (equipment and refreshment can be provided)

Rates for meetings vary so please let us know what you are looking for and we can give you a price.

If you are here to rest:

The Garden House has a comfortable lounge area with seating for watching TV or listening to music or seating for reading (with good lighting!). There is also a pool table (if you are on your own one of us will be happy to beat you!)

The bedroom has a large double bed with high quality bedclothes - beautiful 300 thread 100% cotton duvet cover and pillowcases.

There are toiletries to help you unwind, big chunky bathrobes and towels that are extra large!

There are many pubs and restaurants nearby and we would be happy to advise you of one that would suit your needs – we see it as our duty to try them out on a regular basis!

Going the extra mile

We want your stay to be memorable whether it is business of pleasure, one night or several, so we are here to help whether it is advice on places to see, how to get to around or simply a lift from the station if you are laden down with bags! Please ask and we will always help if we can.

Why we have this building in our garden!

We built The Garden House a couple of years ago for a bit of extra space for our teenage boys – it actually became a bit of sanctuary for us! When we just wanted to escape for an hour or two we would go to the end of the garden away from the hustle and bustle of the house. When family and friends come to stay we give them the choice of the main house or The Garden House – they invariably choose The Garden House and comment on what a lovely sanctuary it is. So rather than have it empty quite alot of the time we thought why not offer it to the discerning traveller when we are not using it!

"Thank you so much for the kindness and hospitality."
